I have a cold, so last night while I was laying on the couch, Luke and Derek did dishes. It's hard to get anything done in the kitchen these days because Luke crawls right over and wants to climb your legs or get right in the oven while you're preheating it. But helping put dishes away was pretty darn cute.
Today Luke and I slept in a little and then our day becomes a whirlwind. Luke is staying with Helene most of the day while I head to Winnipeg for a meeting about the School of Writing. I'm also going to get to see Megan for a minute or two over lunch! I was really excited about this trip to Winnipeg without the baby, but now that I'm sick I am starting to worry about how exhausted I will be at the end of the day. Thankfully, Helene has invited us over for supper so I don't have to worry about that when I get home!
Oh, I do hope that you are feeling better soon. Good thing you don't have to worry about dishes or dinner. Yeah!
