The fence is not coming along as fast as we had hoped because we've had such a ridiculous amount of rain. Thankfully the rain hasn't flooded our basement or backed up our sewer, as it has done to many, but it's incessant dripping has kept us out of the mud hole that will someday be our enclosed yard.Derek told me that in Emerson (about 45 minutes away), 80% of homeowners had three feet of water in their basement last Saturday because they got over 7 inches of rain in 24 hours and the storm was so powerful it knocked out the power, which turned off everybody's sump pumps, and as you can imagine - lots of people woke up to wet basements.
We are lucky not to be so inconvenienced.

Oh, poor Little Luke with the bug bites! His Auntie suffers from them too! Want to give him some Vitamin B12? :) It helps me, though it is an energy booster. . . haha :).
ReplyDeleteTons of love. I'll be thinking of Luke when I get bug bites now :).
XOXOXO,
Lis
That fence will be the talk of the block. It already has me excited about coming over and actually touching it. 15 months.....that's 60 Saturdays. Not too long, eh?
ReplyDeleteI read the title as "fence PROgress" just like a canadian. I imagine that's how you are saying things these days..
ReplyDeleteYou'd think so, but I'm still californian through and through. Like for example, it's "Color" NOT "Colour" - Colour will never be right. Canadians are wrong for once.
