Over the weekend we started a coloring book for Luke. I gave him one of the books I got from the dollar store for my to do lists. He draws in it even when his pen is not engaged. He just loves it. He handed me his pen and I wrote out part of the alphabet. He repeated each letter as I wrote it, "A", "B", "C", "D", "E". His favorite book this week is "Go, Dog. Go!" by P.D. Eastman. He repeats the words he knows like, go, dog, g'bye, hat, car, blue, up, down, sun, tree, fast, where, water, g'night. Watching him draw and enoy longer books has convinced me that we will have this boy reading books on his own in a matter of months.
