Imagination

Listen for: "Hi grandma grandpa"
Grandpa noticed Luke's passion for telephones and dragged out an old broken one for him to play with. Luke spends a lot of time greeting imaginary telephone correspondents. Another new imaginative game involved the butter churn. The butter churn is usually an end table beside Grandma's chair but is now a perfect place for Luke to stir with his wooden spoon. Grandma started dipping her finger into the crock to taste the imaginary butter and Luke decided he likes imaginary butter very much. He stirs the spoon around, dips his fingers in, tastes them, and then stirs some more!

Luke's newest skill: climbing up into chairs. He spends a lot of time high centered, kicking his legs in the air with his face pressed into the seat of the chair before he finally gets a knee up on the seat and can pull up to squatting.
