Yesterday Mom and I sewed Luke a pair of pants made from Nascar material that grandpa picked out. This morning he got to try them on for the first time.
Today is a visiting day. We are going to see Kathleen, Vernon and Laura, and maybe even Luke's great-grandparents if we can squeeze it all in. I also spent a good deal of time killing wasps this morning so that I can finish trimming Dad's myrtle bushes which are towering up over the garage windows. Yesterday I trimmed the african boxwoods around the grotto and my arms were shaking for hours afterwards! I thought it would be safer if I took a little break - not just because it gave me some time to get rid of several wasp nests.
I'm hoping to finish some finish line flag pattern shorts for Luke this evening, so look for pictures tomorrow.
