playing with pictures

I am trying to go through some old photos and work them into something. These are going onto some of my note cards. I have so many images that disappear into that blah land that is "My Documents". Here's to getting some of them printed someday!

Visited a couple garage sales this morning (I went out for milk - go figure), and found several winners. First I found a pair of size 8 shoes for Luke for 50 cents. They're a little big, but he'll grow into them this summer, for sure (he's in a tight 6 right now). I also got a blow up pool for $4. But the really exciting purchases are this old bench with the paint peeling off, and half of an old church pew - for $10! The lady I bought them from said the Sommerfelder church let their parishioners buy the old pews, she and her husband bought one, cut it in half and gave half to their son. This half has been sitting in their garden for years and years now. The other bench came with the house she and her husband bought over fifty years ago. I love stories!

  2. I love the bench! Good find. Are those your barley pictures from here last year?... the day Luke sat in a puddle? Man, that was a good afternoon.
