101st Post

Wow, the 101st post. It doesn't feel like we've been blogging that long. It doesn't feel like Luke can be that old! But then sometimes I find myself surprised that he's not talking yet. He is so expressive that it's hard to believe he has no words.

Luke is wearing some awesome yellow socks today, so we had a photo shoot. Overalls are always winners too. We had lunch with Harv and Helene yesterday and Derek buzzed all his hair off on Friday night.

Saturday we ran into Winnipeg so Derek could use CMU's library and I had a wonderful trip to a camera store. It was a fun day, we all got something we were excited about, and we got to be together!

Friday night Derek and I went to a hockey game and Luke stayed with Celeste. He had a wonderful time, and even ate from a bottle! That's unusual for him. The hockey game was fun, but I am continually surprised by the fist-fights. Are they really necessary, and why does everyone else just stand around and watch, or worse - cheer them on?

  1. Date night sounded wonderful! Glad Luke had a great time with Celeste. And though Derek's hair looks so cute cut short, I'm worried his head might get too cold!
