Over the weekend we bought a 2005 Chevy Uplander. Luke loves all the kicking space and I love not having to bend over to get him in his car seat. We tried a DVD in the player today (yes this thing is loaded), and he totally zoned out watching his Baby Einstein in the vehicle. I missed hearing his narration of the scenery outside his window...we will not be watching videos in the car on a regular basis. But it did come in handy when Luke was being grumpy and antsy during the Farmer's market this afternoon. I plopped him in his car seat in front of the DVD player and had twenty minutes of beautiful behavior!
The other "ride" Luke got this weekend was his first ride on a pony. "Hi!" was the usual greeting from Luke. From that moment this pony knew who was boss. Luke threw off his helmet in a matter of seconds and chattered away at the pony while enjoying a ride on a pony whose stirrups he couldn't even reach. Yep, he's going to be a cowboy...or a mechanic...or a librarian...or a graphic designer!

I've played catch up and thoroughly enjoyed the videos and the pictures. I'm SO in love with the fabric that you bought. Kezia is wishing she could have come for a pony ride too (her best ride was the mechanical one at the restaurant). And Carl is loving the Uplander and wishing we had a van to go cruising down the prairie highway.
