Oopsie

Yesterday I missed a post! That's the first one I've ever missed. How did that happen? Well I'll tell you how. Yesterday morning I didn't get a new picture, so I left it until after Luke's afternoon nap. He's going to sleep around 12:30 these days and I figured he'd sleep a couple hours (2). He slept-count 'em- 1, 2, 3, 4 hours! I had to look in on him to make sure he was breathing. 4 hours is extremely unusual (unheard of! obscene). But he woke up an hour early, and I think he's finally getting the hang of this one-nap-a-day thing, so four hours was greatly appreciated by Luke's mother. I got lots of quiet things done because I was afraid of waking him up from such a gorgeous slumber.

I wanted to get a video of Luke jumping up and down for you because it's his newest and most adorable talent. But the truth about children, and Luke in particular, is that the majority of their time is spent defying your (the parent's) wishes. So instead you get his newest and most annoying talent: the latest in Luke's catalog of screeches. This one is particularly metal on metal if you know what I mean.
